What can be achieved using tag Managers?
While there are several advantages of using a tag manager, some of the key ones are:
- Ability to track internal search queries: Allows you to better understand what people are searching when they engage on your site, allowing you key insights into creating/filling the content gap. You can also prioritize your internal search results based on your conversion points and user journey. Also there are cases to use the data for optimizing your channel strategy. Example would be create a marketing list of people who have engaged in onsite search and do some re-targeting. Also at the same time improve the content on the site and get key insights into Organic Optimization.
- Track forms and bottlenecks: Are you worried about form abandonment? Worry not, you can setup tracking to identify the pain points in your form fills and optimize them. At the same time you can also capture form sent confirmation, in case your forms confirmation happens on the same page.
- Trigger different conversion points: Trigger a conversion tracking code of an advertising platform according to a click/conversion element.
- Track scrolling interactions: In case you want to track depth of your scrolling events and interaction, it’s easy to set it up using a tag manager.
